My this project shows my strongest content literacy because I was able to explain how I found the Earth's orbit and how I got the equations to graph the Earth's orbit.

In this project, the class was assigned a piece of a picture and our task was to create the piece that we got in Geogebra using the four conic sections: circle, ellipse, hyperbola, and parabola. We have to make it as close as possible to the real picture. At the end of the project, everybody will put their picture together to form the whole image. I got a nose piece for the project.
This was a challenging project to me. I feel that I didn't have much freedom because we have to use the four conic sections in the design. I feel that these design constraints affected my picture because the conic sections didn't create the shape that wanted. Another, challenge that I faced was the conic section’s positions. It was hard placing them on the right spot since I have to change the equation of the conic section every time I want it in a new spot.
Due to the challenge that I faced, I had to make some adjustment for conic sections. For instance, I had to adjust the circle conic section a few times before getting it in the right place. The circle conic section in the image is the dark brown moon shaped section. The conic equation of the circle is. I used this equation to create and move my circle. I often get frustrated because the numbers for the center (h, k) and the radius () affects the circle and its position. The center affected the location of the circle and the radius affected the size.
Overall, I think that I did well with my picture. I feel that my picture did look similar to the actual picture. I feel good about it and I think that when the class combines all the little pieces together it’s going to look nice.

This project shows m,y content literacy in Math because i was able to apply Geometry content into producing a product for my GeoCadd class. I was able to produce a stair using just lines and angles that i learned.
